Need help please!

No sound >> did you plug headphones into the M-Audio? You may need to select the diret monitoring feature in the M-AUdio software, if there is such.
Are you getting no sound in your DAW? What DAW are you using? Di you select the M-Audio as your input device?

The only way you can be SURE you have phantom power on the mic is to measure it at the mic plug end of the cable. You should get +48volts on pins 2 and 3 ref pin 1.

Plug the mic in, turn on phantom, crank the gain and lightly tap the front of the mic.

If the clip light on your interface lights up, the mic is working.
 
You have plugged the mic in using the XLR connector input and not using the jack plug input? Phantom won't work on the jack plug.
