need help! please

Im new at home recording and i have a behringer xenyx x2442usb mixer and its hooked up and installed but it wont work with my software and idk what to do. I have cheap software its music creator 4 by cakewalk. Anybody have an idea on what to do?

Read the manuals for both the mixer and the software program.
It should be apparent afterward how to make them work together.
If it still isn't try and specify your question a little.
