Can someone please advise, I am fairly new to cd recording. Here is the scenario: I was trying to burn an audio cd on my PC, a compilation of songs from different Cds. So far I have burned 5 tracks on it. Heres the problem. When I replayed the CD on my PC I could hear all the songs. When I tried it in my car Cd player I can only play 2 tracks. It wont read the rest. After track 2 its starts over on track 1. Why is it it plays all tracks on my PC and only 2 in my car? Help. What am I doing wrong.

Yo man, I had this question last week,
the way I solved it was to burn ALL the
wave files at once, Not one at a time etc.
When I did it that way, my computer would
read all the tracks, but when played on a consumer brand player, it would read only the initial track[s
Hope this helps.

One other possibility - if you haven't "closed" your CD then some audio players won't be able to read all the tracks. Since you say that you have burned 5 tracks "so far" this seems to imply that you have left the CD "open" in order to add more tracks.

Your CD burning sw should ask you whether you want to close the CD or not when you exit. When you close the CD, you burn the final directory info into the proper spot and can no longer add tracks.

Hope This Helps! (HTH)
