Colour: Flat
Lowcut: 75Hz
Highcut: 4.0Khz
High Damping: 4.0kHz
Dry: 100%
diffusion: 100%
Brass stereo:
Eqed:
Rolled off 50Hz
Cut 310Hz by 3dB
cut 1890Hz by 5dB
Reverb: same plate as piano and strings
Brass mono played one octave lower on top of brass stereo:
eqed:
roilled of 50Hz
Cut 445Hz by 10dB
Cut 2300Hz by 10dB
reverb used the same reverb plate but reduced the reverb effect by 80% since its a bit bassy
Bass used is a sub bass: nothing done
Piano, brass and string samples are in full stereo by the way
can someone please tell me if there are any rules in eqing and panning:
1) Strings
2) Piano
3) Brass
4) Synth
Or possibly suggest me some songs which may have the same instruments so I can learn from that and stuff...
So far I think I got the beat and the strings to fit together and I think I got the female singer to sit but I'm not sure what type of reverb to use...
Its just the brass and piano which keeps bugging me...
