I'm using CoolEdit Pro 2.1 with WinXP and Audiophile 24/96 as my soundcard.
When playing two tracks at the same time in multi-track view, is it possible to route only one track out to a effect processor hardware while being able to listen to both tracks? Say that I playback two tracks in the multi-track view, but I want to add effects to one of the two tracks playing with an outboard effects unit. I still need to listen to both tracks playing. But in order to add effects onto to one of the two tracks (not both), I would have to somehow tell CoolEdit to route one track out into another channel of my mixer and then to my effects unit. Is it possible to do this with CoolEdit Pro and the Audiophile 24/96? The Audiophile 24/96 soundcard has only one L/R output so I don't know how this would be possible to do. Do I need a soundcard with more outputs to do this?
I would greatly appreciate your help.
