Hi,
I'm intending to do some recording. I'm planning on getting a pair of Rode NT5s (http://www.rodemicrophones.com/specsnt5/nt5specs.htm). And I already have a Roland VS880 workstation.
1) There are 4 mic input holes at the back of the vs880. If I get the NT5s and record in stereo, I'd imagine each of the mics would go in seperate holes, right?
2) If the above is correct, it means that one of the mics (left) would record into track one and the other (right) will record into track 2. Now, how do I playback properly? There is a pan function on the vs880. Do I pan track one all the way left and pan track 2 all the way to the right? or do i leave both tracks as is (non-paned) and just play back like that?
3) After I've done all the recording, can I just use the master output of the workstation and plug it into the PC audio input hole (I'm using A78NX-X onboard sound)?
Thanks
