**need help!! Have setup but don't think it's correct!**

Hello, I am looking for someone to help me out with my recording setup. I have a laptop with Windows 7 and I'm using Sony Acid Music Studio 7. I have three main pieces to my recording setup, a M-audio fast track USB, M-Audio Audio Buddy, and Behringer 4 channel mixing board. I would like to have somebody tell me what is the best way that I can run those to my laptop and should I remove one or maybe add something to it that would improve it. Thanks.

Ok, so these pieces of gear aren't really made to be used together.

Use the fast track over usb to allow you to record one microphone or one guitar DI.

The maudio buddy is a two channel preamp, but to use it you'd need an interface like the fast track, but with two line inputs.

The Behringer mixer also has preamps, and extra functions, but as before it needs an interface with line inputs to be used, unless it's the usb version?

What do you plan to record?
What instruments, how many mics, anything else you can think of?
