need help getting this reverb effect

hi...im really trying to get the vocal reverb/delay sound that killing joke used on this song...ive tried everything...but i just end up swamped in reverb...im not sure if its a delay because the repeats are'nt really audible...if anyone can help us out it would be great as i really want to nail this huge vocal sound....

automate the send level to a delay set to the tempo of the song to get the building effect that's in parts. The rest is just straight delay.

..it sounds like there is a massive gated reverb mixed in as well...low in the mix...as there is a huge tail off after each word...or is this a short delay with big feedback? .im no expert but i don't know how to get this effect with delays without hearing repeats......

try shorter delays timed to the song............

edit - go here - http://www.myspace.com/layfacedown and listen to the song "Arrogance" especially in the chorus vox. A bunch of delay with feedback, no repeat.

cool, will do....i think i can get it with an echoboy plugin...great tune by the way....kinda reminds me of a wierd cross between dead kennedys, bloodhound gang and slipknot.....
