I'd say check the owners manual. I have a dm3200 with dp4.6....had to setup the dm3200 as a mackie control interface so dp would recognize it. It wasn't too hard to do it. But once everything is setup nicely....it's pretty sweet setup....so look back at the owners manual.

Yes, you have to setup the DM4800 with the Mackie Control. You also have to make sure that all your inputs and outputs are set correctly inside the DM4800. Mine is set up as:

1-24= Output to FW card (Cubase Input)
25-48= returns from Cubase (Cubase Output)

Unless of course you are using it ONLY as a control surface....and not as an input to your recording software.

DM 4800 in and outputs

Hey guys!

Thank you for this thread I need some (actually a lot) help to set up
my DM 4800 outputs in Cubase.
My IF/FW works fine, ASIO set up correctly, it gives me the option of
32 inputs or outputs repspectively. My question is:

How do I set up the outpus on the DM?

SOrry for being so unknowledgable, but any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
