Need help connecting EQ to my mixing board

I'm using a Mackie 1604vlz and a nady 2 channel eq. I'm using one channel of the eq for de-essing...no probs there. I'm trying to use the other channel of eq to equalize 2 channels on my mixer. Can this even be done? If so, then I'm having a helluva time figuring how. If not then I've wasted a lot of time

You could assign the two channels to a subgroup (and de-assign them from the main Left/Right output), and route that to the EQ and return it to and Aux input or even another unused channel. I don't know you'd want to use an EQ in this way but that's the only way to get two channels into one input.bv
