I have a samson c01 and a matched pair behringer C4 and an emu0202 usb as audio interface... What should i put in the middle to get a nice sound? Im recording (trying) spanish/classic guitar... I need at least 2 channels... I was recording with a mixer (american porblue8) but sounds really bad.

What's your budget?

And yeah...with those mics...a higher-end preamp may not make much difference.

The thing is that iv heard recordings with those mics and they sounded "good", thats the reason i boughtem but i never knew what else they used on that recordings. Im no getting the sound that i want. If im not wrong i listen those recordings at this forum a few weeks ago

Run the c01 and one c4 into the (2) microphone pre-amps of your emu-0202. Place the c01 about 8-inches in front of the sound-hole and place one of the C4s about 8-inches from the 12th fret and see how that sounds/works. The mics are not the greatest when looking at the "global microphone picture", however, it's what you have at this point in time and this set-up just might work. If you need more "gas" to get a decent level over and above what the Emu 0202 provides, the 2-channel M-Audio DMP-3 is a good low cost option ($159) : M-Audio DMP-3 | Sweetwater.com
