Need guitar songs

Not sure if i should post here, let me know.

I am looking for some folks that have laid down some songs with just guitar, no bass or drums, in rock to alternative rock genre.

My son plays bass and drums but has recently stop playing with his friends.

Just looking for something to keep him busy, to create a bass and drum line too.

I will not share it with no one but the original song writer.

There has to be some sort of software program that does this. I don't have anything in mind but I'd guess you could find something that takes out all but guitar from any songs (mp3s etc) you own, or something that plays guitar-like chords where you can set what scale or chord sequence to play. You'd get a lot more mileage with a software program than a couple of riffs from others. You could even search youtube for jams. I bet your son could also find a forum online somewhere where he could pass jam sessions back and forth with other musicians interested in doing the same.
