Need ASIO help... just got a Novation Speedio and need to fix latency

Just got a second hand Novation Speedio that didn't come with any ASIO installation things... I have no idea how to fix the latency on this thing!
I went to asio4all.com and downloaded ver 2.8 but dunno how to set it all up with my Speedio properly...

At the moment I am sadly using Audacity to record... but will be getting Sonar Home Studio 4 hopefully soon.

The Novation Speedio is supposed to come with ASIO drivers. Search for Speedio on NovationMusic.com. You'll find a newer driver there.

You may just need to update your driver. That's a way better solution than using ASIO4All. ASIO4All should be a last resort.

Note that even with ASIO, you'll still have to deal with figuring out the magic buffer size for whatever your current project is. So chances are, you'll probably never completely get rid of latency issues.

BTW, once you make the leap to Sonar, you'll wonder how you ever got by with Audacity. ;-)
