I am an aspiring engineer just getting started here locally.

I need some sonic reviews of the material, with tips on how to enhance the quality of the recording and mixing. I do not rap so I'm not interested in these artist's skills being reviewed. I'd also be happy to reciprocate and check out anybody's stuff who leaves comments. Thanks for your help guys!

I have full control over the individual portions of the beats as well, so if the hi hat needs eq'd seperatley, or the vocals need to blend with the melody more, please let me know.

One last thing, Please critique this harshly. Don't go easy because it's done in a home studio. Gracias!

1) S-H
2) SO SICK

I am no engineer so I will skip this one.

..but you do realize that this is a HOMErecording site right?

Well, I apologize and I should elaborate. I'd like ANYONE's opinion. Ha-Ha. Thanks bro! :)

Hi

This is very professional. I really like the vocal arrangements as they are all over the place. No improvement suggestions from my side since I'm not even close to produce something with that quality. I guess those songs are mastered ?

Regards,

Jack Real.

Well I'm taking Engineering. Maybe there is a Custodial Engineer here that can help. :)

edit - I just listened to it... wow it's Eminem!

Shit sounds good man! I try to make my shit sound that good but... keep it up, thats all I can really provide for ya.

Wigga? I dont really understand what that means.

I don't rap nor do I produce the beats, just track and edit the vocals here at my home studio. You guys think it sounds alright? I'm going to have to get it mastered as soon as the artist comes through with the money.

I appreciate the replies fellas!

Wiggas=white Niggas

Anyhow, it's fine, send it to the masterhouse.

(disclaimer: jake hasn't listened to rap since 1993 when he lost his fear of a black planet album on cassette)

white people can rap too guys, duh. anyway, yea, nothing bad to say, it rules.
