Saturday night a friend of mine is supposed to perform a song we put together recently. The DJ said he needs on tape because he doesn't have a CD Player in his mobile gear. My question is how can make it so that, when I burn it to CD and transfer it to tape it will sound decent in a club atmosphere. CD's I've burned before have sounded different on a variety of car & home systems. How can I get a consistency, and what should I do to get the most out of the club system?
Thanks

firstly , what kind of a dj doesnt have a cd player ? sheeesh.. you might want to lend him one just for your performance.. but if you must use tape , make sure you record to a high quality tape and get a hot single..

so theres no surprises when you pop the tape in at the club , make sure you get there before they open and perform a soundcheck.. get all your levels right , and eq , and write down the settings..this way you know exactly where to set the knobs come showtime..

hope this helps..
