need a recommadation, Please

Hello,
I have a Dell 4300s and the stock soundcard does not seem to be working correctly. I just need a soundcard that will allow me to mix down in stereo from my mixer (don't need multi tracks). I would like to save to a Wav. file to ultimately burn to Cd(s). Does anybody have a recommadation for me? I will not be doing any live recording to the card as I have high end reel to reel analog for that, the Wav. will serve as storage for the master. Thanks, I appreciate any help.

When in doubt... turn to the trusty M-Audo Audiophile 2496! You won't be disappointed!
 
ill second the audiophile....unless you really wanna go pro level, in which id say a LynxOne or LynxTwo.......
