Hi there, long time reader- 1st time poster.
I just got a practice space at the historical lemp brewery in St. Louis. My room has this fantastic 6x3 (estimate) old style window that the land lord blocked off with a slab of 1/2in. thick grey board. I don't think its sheet rock, as its pretty brittle like a particle board..I don't know my materials very well
He says its a matter of municipal codes that requires him to try and soundproof the windows, but the view from this 3rd story window is too awesome to block off.
I Imagine this existing ghetto rigged sound solution only blocks out 25-30% sound, Is there any half way decent clear materials that can do the job? Acrylic maybe?
Thanks in advance!
