Need a mic

I have decided to go with the studio projects vtb1 for a pre, under 100, which mic should i pair with it


Marshall v67 or the Studioprojects B1

I have both the Marshall V67G and Studio Projects B1 and I like them both. If you can't listen to them both before you buy one, just flip a coin.

My guess is the b1 will sound at least okay on a lot of voices, while the v67 will be a lot pickier -- might sound outstanding on a few, but really crappy on others.

You can get a B-1 as an all around studio mic, but a dynamic like SM58 will probably still work better for what you're doing.-Richie
