I have around 100 pounds to spend on a condenser mic, i reckon im gonna be recording mainly vox and acoustic with it. what would you lot suggest?

try a search..
from the top of my head: SP B1, MXL V67. I get reasonable results on vocals with the MXL 990, and very nice results on ac gtr with that mic, not as nice as my MXL991 though...

I recommend the AT4033, works very well for both acoustic guitar and vocals!
