I need a versital mic for recording vintage overdrive guitar sounds and vocals i already have a couple of sm57's and they work great but i kind of want something to capture the transients a little better ,have own home built studio in the back yard and floated the walls,floor and ceiling the acoustics are great ,anyway ive heard that the k2 is an awsome value and vary versital wich is exactly what i need ,recording on pro tools using the preamps on the digi 02 and a presonus blue tube , both are somewhat to be desired if anyone could lend a hand i would appreciate it
