I hate it when vocalists blame everything but themselves. I had a singer in like that a few months ago. He swore my mic and pre's were all messed up, when actually he was terrible and nobody would tell him.
I listened to it and told you what I think. See my last post.alevy said:somebody anybody. listen to the acapella link.
He obvioudly doesn't want a valid opinion, he wants someone to validate that it's not the vocals that's the issue.Farview said:I listened to it and told you what I think. See my last post.

Why would anyone now want to listen to this if he is going to reject their opinion out of hand?
alevy said:so how do u explain the other 12 people who record by my house and the frequencies are similar? exactly.....any if anybody has a myspace account could you download the accapella and compress it and sent it back to me. that way you can tell me what you did. maybe i'll stop blaming my equipment then.lol. honestly though im recording in a booth its not perfect at all of course but it is a booth.
Well... for one thing - gear doesn't MAKE the sound.... it can make recording easier or harder, but if your recording skills are up to par then you can get good sound with a PortaStudio. The fact that you seem to be having this much trouble points more to an issue with your recording skills rather than a problem with the gear.alevy said:...and sent it back to me. that way you can tell me what you did. maybe i'll stop blaming my equipment then....
Hint: A capella means 'without accompaniment' (that means 'no beatz')alevy said:and also it's not a poem hint "acapella" it's a rap song.

It's broken... I'll paypal you $20 for it.... It'll cost me a bunch to repair....my mic's frequencies arent correct from 340-500 there is a boost then from about 750 to 4000 everything goes down considerably i thought i had high mids but its not the mids i have low everything else ...

1.) Go to school and learn how to spell.
2.) Take vocal lessons, and develop your voice into something musical, and worth listening to.
3.) Quit blaming your equipment.
4.) Learn (read this forum) about proper equipment paring, etc.
Good luck....
