Well it's not really a trick but it is neat. :D

With ver 2.1 you can use you foot switch on your keyboard as a transport control. I assigned my footswitch on my triton to the record button and it works great.

PS Don't forget to use the 'MIDI trigger enable' from the options menu.

What a cool post. Totally unselfish sharing of something useful. I have absolutely no use for it personally, lmao, but I know somebody will benefit.

Oh, but you forgot to post a question that's totally answered in the help file, lol. :D

(Woops, I forgot.)

BTW, How do I remove the vocals from a song? :D (JK)

Thanks

Nice rustyfingers!

Hey does anyone know how to assign CEP transport controls to something like the transport controls on a consoul like a Ghost. I've got the Ghost with the computer and it has transort buttons. It would be really cool to get them to fire CEP....

Just noticed you live right up the road , rusty. How 'bout the heat, it's Texas out there ain't it....

Look Ma, No hands.....

You can assign it to the highest(or lowest) note on a keyboard or to any midi device that has a spare button. Basically anything that can be assigned a midi device number and has a button should work.

Okay, help me out....

I can't get CEP to use any midi shortcuts. I've checked midi trigger enable, but haven't had any luck

Part II: Anyone try using a POD (which exports midi data) to control something in CEP. I can be used as a make-shift midi control box (I've done so in FruityLoops). Better yet, could I assign a button on my FB4 footswitch to a transport control? It transmits data to the pod via a ethernet cable, but one can use a midi floorboard to do the same....

Got more important things than red rover to save up for right now..
