Native SATA - Anyone running it yet?

I'm considering an upgrade and am looking for native SATA support. From what I read, there are only a few chipsets that support SATA natively:

- VIA KT600
- Sis 964
- Intel ICH5

Anyone here with experience with any of these chipsets? Did SATA make much difference?

Also, has VIA REALLY solved their performance issues? I had a 133-based mobo awhile back. Ugh!

Thanks in advance.

I recently built a new system specifically for recording with an ASUS P4P800 (chipset ICH5Rw) and the new Western Digital 10,000 RPM SATA drive. I've had no problems and great performance.
