Native Instruments Pro52 & DiamondMonsterMX-400 soundcards

I want to know if anyone has tried to use the Diamond Monster MX-400 soundcard with a softsynth like Native Instruments Pro52?
Im thinking about getting a second soundcard to be placed next to my SB Live! for the only purpose of outputting my softsynth so I can track it. I just want to know about it's DirectSound Output sound. Is it smooth?

If anyone has any experience with the Diamond Monster MX-400, or even hooking it next to an SB Live, please respond!!
Latency issues using my SB Live with the Softsynth is nill.
Even with a shit load of tracks recording with CEP in stereo.So im not worried about that.
Im worried about DM's DirectSound capabilities,hopefully up to par with SB LIVE.
I also don't want any compatibility issues(SBLIVE VS DM)

get the APS Driver for the SB live and you can track your soft synth. The thing about the APSDriver is it gives you a new mixer with the ability to select what will go to HD. e.g. If I play an MP3 in Winamp I can go to the mixer and select Disk Record on the wave track it will appear at the input of soundforge and can be recorded. If I want effects on it I can select an effect like reverb and select Disk Record on the return and it will be recorded with the MP3. It's a much better and more controllable version of "What you Hear" The amount of effect is adjusable just like in any mixer plus you can select two different effects at once. Well worth the free download.

Usually, you'd like some drums or bass to play along with while tracking, right? Does the APS driver enable you to playback these on a separate channel, so that you don't re-record them with the synth on top? (enabling you to add the synth as a new track in a multitrack editor?)

Talking strictly non-VST, of course.
