James Gang with Joe Walsh or Tommy Bolin......two different incarnations, great either way. "Rides Again" and "Thirds" were my fav Walsh discs, and "Miami" with
Bolin was super.

Don't tell me we have run out of bands!!
Does anybody remember Gamma,Ronnie Montroses band after Montrose? I know they have probably been mentioned ,but I thought it was worth it.......

It seems everyone is just repeating past posts now. Did someone hit the reset button?

CyberDragon.......
Welcome aboard---you must start at the beginning of this thread to see how far we have come, and I know there are alot more out there. This has got to be a record thread.

anyone named rush or mahogany rush?
it's getting really hard to remember all of the groups named.
linda ronstat and stone pony?
peter paul and mary?
johnnie cash?
there must be a million of em.

The Beat Farmers been mentioned?
Heard "I'm a Happy Boy" (hummana, hummmana, hummana) the other day...

Mahogany Rush.......Frank Marino is one of the most overlooked players in the world! Just listen to his blues on Mahogany Rush Live.

How about Badfinger (or their pre-Badfinger version,"The Iveys") ?

Hey Tweedville, Got the "Iveys Live" on vinyl. OK, trying not to repeat, but it's getting tough at this point:

Leon Russell
Romeo Void
Crabby Appleton
Lemondrops
Flying Lizards
Dobey Grey
Michael Martin Murphy....

Wow......Crabby Appleton!
That's got to be a winner in the obscure category. It is hard to not repeat bands, but that was a fresh list.I thought Badfinger was a really good band, and although they were well known, they were ripped off financially and never got their due.I mentioned this band before, but do you remember Ramamtam? They had a female guitarist named April Lawton,I believe.Mitch Mitchell was their drummer.

anyone heard of charlie daniels?
my god it seems all the good music in the world has been replaced by pop.come on you guys we have to save the world fron utter destruction, some body publish something great so we don't self destruct.i'm trying to do my part.we need a mighty mouse-superman figure to save us now.eek!!!

You know, I though of a good band that I didnt see mentioned here but they are so obscure I forgot. If I remeber I will post it. Everybodies heard them but there obscure man, you know.
Anyone compiling that list yet? you know?
Tweedville, I saw Ramatam twice and yes April was the guitar player. Once at the Pocono Mountain Festevil in
1972, great concert, 13 headliners, anyone else go. There were harleys out on the raceway going in opposite directions at full throtle and the acid was flowing freely.

The Vapors! I think I'm Turning Japanese.

Ha! The thread that wouldn't die!
