Good Ones! Not Mentioned Before!

Jethro Tull is still one of my favorites.

I like to cover Jethro Tull tunes, quite a bit.

You got good taste! I saw these guys do concerts for Aqualung and Thick as.. back in their heyday. Martin Barre was the first guy I ever recall shredding on a Marshall stack. Blew my mind. I guess I was pretty young. Standup, Benefit and Lung are still hallmarks of excellence.

(Heck-I recall Pink Floyd at the Santa Monica Civic for their Meddle concert-seats 2,000)

We're gettin' old!

Peace

Oh yeah...did someone mention Strawberry Alarm Clock?

Jethro tull are way cool :)
Infact I heard there newest cd about 1 year ago on the radio. Willow I think was the name of the single and the album title was something like- J.Tull.com
something like that.

ah tull!

When the guy I work with first told me about this thing called Napster and that he would download some stuff for me, the first song I asked for was Minstrel in The Gallery - oh, man that is a SONG. Of course he didn't realise it would take fifty minutes to download - he almost killed me when I asked for Xanadu by Rush(heh, heh)

RE: Jethro Tull,

I saw JT on the 'Bursting Out' tour in '78, and also at the Greek Theatre (seats ~2000) in '93. Both times they were great, and I love to listen to JT albums to this day.

I think JT music is so RICH, if you know what I mean.

thread that will never die.

Cowsills? I was their paperboy when they lived in Santa Monica. Sometimes they would practice in the guest house and let the neighborhood hang out and watch. They hated it when we called them the Cowbells.

Anybody for a little Norton Buffalo? He inspired me to learn harmonica.

Emeric,
Cheers to Baberuth!
Budgie takes me back!

How about pseudoBeatles- Klaatu?

I couldn't read 'em all, did anyone mention Mahnavishnu(sp.) Orchestra?
