Wow. You saying you never heard that song. . . That boggled my mind because it got jumbo amounts of airplay in my area - I could never conceive of it not being heard by anyone in the US market areas. How about George Benson's Breezin' ? I never gave them much thought but today I would classify both of them as Yacht Rock.

Sanford and Townsend were in a band named Heart - not related to Ann & Nancy's band.

I've heard Breezin'. I've listened to a fair amount of George Bensen. He does a great version of Masquerade, and On Broadway. Good guitar player! He was different from the rock/pop guitarists, more pop/jazz. He tended to show up on different stations than the top 40 stuff.
