Is there much difference between the MSH1 and MSH2? Info please anyone? New to recording and looking at getting a pair of either of these to get me started..

Thanks in advance!

Its worth checking out the naiant site. I think the FAQ deals with this.

the msh-1's have true flat response, the msh-2's are colored for warmth. Peek at www.naiant.com and read up. The response graphs are there. If you want true stereo reproduction, he still recommends the 1's from what I read. I have a pair of msh-1's and I am very happy with them. There are sound clips at naiant.com, but I recorded a song of mine
with the two msh-1's. That's a dry take so you'll hear the quality of the mics. The room is crappy, so take it with a grain of salt.

Just spotted this on another thread.. cheers..

I like the song and I can tell you got a good sound out of the mics. But the MP3 bitrate is at 56KBPS.

I would try downloading cDex as it can rip from CD directly to MP3, and it's free. ;)
