Nady TCM-1050 vs TCM-1150

Hey, just wondered if anyone knew a difference between these two mics? The specs seem identical, the 1150 just has a longer body. Does anyone know of any other differences? Thanks!

I do think they're the same circuit, but the body style will affect the sound. A larger grill compartment with wider mesh spacing opens the sound up a little more.

Scrap the Nady...

why gamble on inconsistant quality and a history of wrinkled diaphragms...go for something better at the same price point (I own one and it's the best bang for the buck!):

I don't think anything at that price point has the variable patterns though, except maybe the apex 460, which I think is the same thing anyway to the tcm-1150

I own the Apex 460, and if you change the tube to a good 12AT7 it sounds very good.
