Has anyone ever heard (of) Nady audio sm250a monitors? The guitar center offers them for 300,- a pair.

"The SM250A is an active, full-range, 2-way studio monitor speaker with 6 1/2" shielded woofer, 1" Ferro fluid-cooled, soft-dome shielded tweeter and built-in 100W bi-amped power. This model is bass-reflex loaded with 2" tuned cylindrical port for optimized linear bass response. "

I'm having no illusions here. At that price these can't be decent monitors,....right?

I don't know of anything Nady puts out that is considered "decent".....

And that description provides virtually no useful information.....

Check out a pair of Yorkville YSM-1Ps for just a little more....

I can't seem to find the Yorkvilles over here in Belgium. I think I'll go for the Yamaha MP5's or the Event tr5's. These cost twice as much as those Nady's do, but I guess you get what you pay for...

ON the other hand... try them out - if they suit your ears, then go ahead and use 'em!

Your ears will tell you later on if/when it's time to upgrade....!

Has anyone heard how these speakers sound yet..
