N-Tracks system use

I'm about to take the jump into computer recording by downloading N-Tracks.

But before I do so, I wanted to make sure that downloading and installing N-Tracks won't interfere with other programs I'm need for work (I use the computer to work from home). I checked the N-Tracks website but couldn't find any list of system requirements. I figured someone on the BBS would be able to answer this question pretty easily.

I have a Dell computer, with Pentium 4 1.8 GHz chip, 512 RAM and 1.79 GHz hard drive. I use internet Explorer to access my employer's website, and Quick Time to view files on the website. I won't be using N-Tracks and working at the same time, of course, but I didn't want to download and install N-Tracks, then be unable to work. Also, I have PhotoShop 3 and Illustrator 9 installed on my computer.

Thanks for any advice.

I started using N-Track with a PII-450Mhz machine on Win98SE; you won't have any problem at all with any P4.

(I'll assume the 1.70Ghz hard drive is a mis-print :-))

It won't interfere with any other program. It is very well behaved.

Ditto. If it starts using too much system resources, what suffers is n-track, not anything else. It's a hot program. Likes a fast drive (don't we all).

Thanks for the advice. Say hello to a new computer recording artist!
