my n-track went nuts! well, more speciffically, it changed on me. my issues are:

-a lag or delay in recording. new parts are a half-beat out of sync or so.
-if i try to add a part to an existing recording, n-track now automatically records over the first two tracks.
-upon opening n-track there is automatically a new song file begun. i would rather have an undedicated window.

these things just "happenned" one day. i wonder, should i pull n-track out and reload it? would that affect the existing work on my computer?

hope someone can help me.

I believe there is a "return to default settings" in preferences.Give that a try!

Howdy Dan!

Did Beezelbubba's advice work? Any progress or improvement?

The only thing that I can add is that sometimes the tracks will not line up, and you have to manually re-allign them.

Other than that, try what Beezelbubba said, and I hope it clears up.

thanks!

the "default settings" advice was great! it's funny, but as SOON as the defaults window opened (that's right- OPENED) the echo was gone! instantly! furthermore, when i hit the "return to.." button, everything was back the way i wanted it. the window clear, the tracks lined up, the echo gone! hope it can stay this way.

thanks beezelbubba. you were very helpful. and to jack russell, well- all i can say is that he's got a real bad attitude! :D

(that's an inside joke. jack russell is a swell guy)
