n e opinons on the First Act USB cable?

I've tried one of those man. It really sucks

edit: you can get the mbox that has focusrite preamps for only $145 on amazon.

hmm, I checked it out but why did it get such , well, mediocre reviews? Some great and some just in the middle?

Or, any instrument to USB cable? Has anyone used this before? I am thinking of getting one to get material onto my lap top.

Wow, well, how about this. What Do you think , in a poor mans setup, I was thinking this way:


instrument> Behringer U-CONTROL UCA222 USB Audio Interface> laptop

this is ok for monitoring but the quality is awful for recording guitars etc..

I also tried a usb cable but the latency was near impossible to get rid off...completely useless

oops never saw this post...good choice, especially if they come with studio one..the upgrade to pro is around $50 on some interfaces and its a great DAW
