I am using Cubase SL 2.x patched. When running (2) midi tracks, 1 midi track sends to a hardware sampler running an FMBass sound. The sampler is set to midi channel 1. the second midi track is set for midi channel 2 and sends to a vst synth. When I am running the FMBass track and depress a controller key on the vst synth, I get the vst synth sound but also the FMBass track drops out in the high end as if it is being filtered. this "filter" effect goes away as soon as the vst synth is not being played or receiving midi.
