not sure what did it in, but now its just noisy and almost no signal, you can hardle hear it if you crank the gain but it is muffled and low sounding. if i posted a recording of it do you think you guys could diagnose it for me? i might be getting myself into mic modding on accident if you guys can help me fix it. I dont absolutely need it to be fixed, as i have a chinese ribbon being shipped here right now to be used for vocals, but i would still like to fix it if possible.thanks!
 
Capsule moisture is always easy to rule out--toss it in a bag with some desiccants and see if it comes back to life in a day or so.
 
as posted above moisture can be the cause.

The 67 capsule has a clear area where there is no gold at the edge. If dust,dirt,smoke etc settles in that area and moisture makes it wet it will bleed off the capsule charge causing noise and low output.

i got it working! thanks for the tips guys. I just had to clean off the capsule a bit. tedious, but worth it.
