My system is slowing in booting and proccessing.

Hey guys, please am in a very big trouble, and i don't know what to do. My system is slowing in booting and proccessing, and my recording softwares such as cubase 5, samplitude and fl 9 are not working perfectly. Even my samplitude alway told me to increase my BUFFER settings, but i don't know what it means. Somebody please help me out because i gat so many jobs now but i can't mix them.
 
You bought $2,000 worth of (redundant) software and don't know what an audio buffer is? Wow...watch out for splinters at the end of the plank, matey.

You realize you basically gave no details whatsoever about your problem, right? "Something is wrong". With that amount of detail, the only response I can think of is: Fix it!
 
without knowing your pc spec its hard to nail it down,but if it was working ok before then chances are your c: drive is getting full and very fragmented ...

check for virus`s/spyware
delete all the crap you dont use

try moving all your projects to another drive,saving all your libraries,samples e.tc to another drive keeping your c: with enough free space to work properly

then defrag your drive ...


the buffer settings are in the asio driver settings (on the audio prefs somewhere) ... bigger buffer settings give your pc more time to "think" before rendering audio,problem is it also add a delay to the input signal ... so if your only mixing down larger settings will be fine
 
Contact customer support for your softwarez. Oh yeah, you probably cant because you never paid for it huh?

Seriously, if you don't even know what a buffer size is, then you have no right recording any others. This is basic stuff here man. If I have misjudged you, then I apologize, but you seem to be the typical pirate type. If you are a pirate, then you shall be stricken down with the ban hammer.

By the way, when you download illegal 'cracked' software, you will likely get viruses, that will screw your whole system up. Nothing comes for free. If you are charging people for services, you damn well better be paying for the software that you use.

Do not come to this forum for advice on using illegal software. We here are committed to paying for our software.

I hope you are not a pirate. :)

It is not my job to be pirate police, but you have asked many questions that make it quite obvious that you do not have respect for the writers of the software that you have no clue about how to use. Take your disrespect elsewhere.

It's a good thing he didn't waste his money on all that software. It's like buying a car without knowing how to drive. :D

Wow thanks to you guys.

Thank u all that gave a piecies of advice and thank u all that called me pirate or whatever, God bless u all. But what i want you guys to know is that when you don't know something, you must aske the people that knows it more than you. Am not a pirate and i paid for my dues. You guys can't render any help but discouragement and abusing me. Well bye anyway bless ya all.

Cause in that case we have about 10,000 software pirates on our site.

Naw, but the clueless who have multiple DAW's and don't have simple knowledge of what it is they bought, just doesn't add up to me.

I do not doubt there are many around that have some cracked software, but at least they aren't stupidly obvious about it. My morals are my own, and I don't find it right to steal from anyone, but if someone else has feels the need to do so, then just don't be stupid about it. I hate stupid more than pirates. Stupid pirates should be flogged IMO. :)
 
lol ..... anytime anyone asks my wifey what I hate, she tells them, "He hates stupid" ....... I'm with you.

That guy to the right of all those t-shirts really pisses me off!
