When Eminem says ignorant stuff like this it's entertainment... when you say it you just sound ignorant.

I'll let you in on a little secret about recording: before recording yourself make sure you have some talent, about 5 years experience in music... and expect to wait about 5 years after that until you learn how to record properly.

I'm thinking you're typical of many young people today in that you have the attention span of a gnat and feel entitled to "get your way." My advice is to quit while you are ahead and take up something easy like hard drugs.

You're in the right place for learning. Like someone said earlier, start researching. Early on I found this site, became a member, and didn't make one single post for a few months. I just poked around and read every thread I could. When I came across a term I didn't understand, I looked for a thread that could explain it.

It's not really for me to say, but looking back...for me the best thing for me to do was listen and not speak. I had a lot of questions (still do) but at that point, I knew so little that I didn't even know the right questions to ask.

So the moral of story...read, read, read. And when you read something from one source, cross-reference is against another source. I know it's difficult, but try to make sure that you're getting good information. That's why I say you've found a good place. If someone here posts bad information, it won't stand for long. The people here will correct it.
