MY RECORDING SOUNDED LIKE SHIT

hey, I play bass in a band, and we just recorded our first demo on a normal crappy-ass tape recorder. It sounded like shit, I just wanna know exactly what kinda stuff I need in order to record something straight into a computer, so it sounds nicer... any suggestions?????

Mixer

Well I started out with just a Mixer and several good mikes (SM-57s + SM-58s) it works, but beware this recording think can put you in the Poor House.. Later Donny!!!
