snare is a little loud... cymbals sound cheap and loud and loose... bass drum is great. i don't know what else. EQ sounds fine to me. the snare also sounds a little too muted or something. good start though!

the cymbALS ARE zilijan howevee u spell it. ummmm as llomg as its good ive been recording since july. how can i improve it more?

just make the snare resonate a little more, turn the snare down, maybe put the overheads higher or tighten your wing nuts. with recordings loose cymbals sound like crap to me. if you have a 150 dollar extremely loose cymbal it will sound like a 20 dollar cymbal.

ok ill try that..i spent 5 hours micing and doing place ment on the drums yeasturday. not bad for using the delta 44 lol

Cleaning them may make them sound a little brighter. What kinda zildjian cymbals are they? They range from 30 to 400 dollars. Their should be a series letter on it like A or K or Z....

Nice sound overall. Kick is especially good. With some processing this could end up pretty decent. Cymbals could use a little dampening though.

you're sure they're ZBT's?? hahaha... i use ZBT's and have a beautiful sound, not trashy at all. i guess mine are really tight though...

yeah im sure well one of the cybals a diffrent kind because one of the zbt's cracked..who knows my mics are..
snare Sm57
kick d112
overhead mca sp1
floor tom audix i5
toms audio techs

the bass drum does sound great to me. how exactly did you mic it and what type of beater are you using?

Im useing my pearl export drum set, im using the same heads it came with it. the, the front head is off the bass drum and im micing it with the d112...im not sure..i took pics m,aybe ill post them later
