My PC takes forever to shut down...

Why? We're talking minutes here. Is it because I have 3 HD's?
 
Also maybe tons of spy- and mal-ware? Mine slows down wicked sometimes, including shut-down, and I know it needs a good scrubbing.
 
No...I don't think so. I've got a lot of things in place to block spyware and I also scan for it quite a bit. I also don't do a lot of internet stuff or downloading of programs.

I'll scan tonight for good measure.

I figured you were on it. Having three drives indicates a certain familiarity with computers. Mostly I'm up late, hopefully someone else can help with something other than sleep-deprived blatantly obvious suggestions. :D
