Thanks guys I actually really like the DeVille. I sold my Line 6 amp to a buddy of mine because I wanted something that sounded better. The line 6 has a ton of sounds, but doesn't necessarily sound amazing. Side by side the DeVille is just so much clearer and cuts through even when distorted.
When I crank it up anywhere past 4 it's just one bad ass amp. I can play any kind of music and although it doesn't have the most extreme built in distortion it's very useful and actually sounds great even for things like playing Slayer, (old) Metallica, Obituary etc. I started trying to remember old songs I use to play when I was a teenager and new to guitar.
@ TelePaul, It's just my home studio that I put together.
@ SHEPPARDB, it actually didn't come with a pedal. I bought it from a pawn shop near me. I go in there every now and then and the manager plays guitar so we're always shooting the shit.
They got the amp from someone who bought it new, had it for a few months but just didn't like it. So, I saved a few hundred bucks buying it second hand and was able to put it on lay-a-way which really helped as well. I did just order the foot switch a few days ago and read a ton of reviews lol.
A lot of people talk about how many times they have had to replace the foot switch, but I'm pretty good at fixing stuff...
