Hey Hutch.
I guess the mods will leave this thread behind so I'll reply here.

I listened through the first few tracks in the background whilst doing some work.
I've finished my work now so I've gone back to the start.

That mightn't sound like much but I wanted to.
The tracks all sound fantastic so far so I figured they deserve a proper listen.

What's your input pal? You just contribute the vocal parts or do you arrange the backing?
How much or how little is sampled? I hear nice guitar licks and that sort of thing. Do you do those?

Just trying to get a handle on what you're up to.

Anyway, I'm gona take time out and listen to the heap here 'cos it's sounding great.

This isn't my go-to genre but I've bopping along nicely.
The vocal sound is just perfect to me. Real professional sound.

ps: I'm on track 6 now. The snare/handclaps really stand out to me but maybe that's how it goes?!

well I dont make the beats I download them from soundclick or other sites for free. Only time I use beats I make are when I sell my Albums. But mostly I use the free "instro's". But I do all the mixing and mastering and writing myself (other than the tracks that hav features on them, the feature writes their own lyrics) But I engineer mix and master all myself. My "lable" is called ESB ENT. (ESB standing for 2 things, East Side Boys, and Everything Sounds Better) Thank you for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed.. if you would like.. share it on your fb.. or download.. thanks for your feedback! Im sure we'll talk again on FB.

Yo JHutch! Welcome to the board! You have already done well by admitting you might have violated protocol, instead of just giving us a bunch of attitude. Here's the deal. This is a forum for learning about recording, and sharing what you've learned. There are a few legitimate experts here, and a lot of DIY veterans. If you post technical stuff that isn't true, they'll be all over you like flies on a cow pasture. While you can get (hopefully constructive) criticism here, and some often useful advice, this place sucks for self-promotion. The cheap-ass dudes here won't buy your recordings even if you are a badass, and they don't care either. But some of them will go out of their way to help you. Be prepared to hear what you want does not exist, like that magic microphone that records vocals, but doesn't pick up noise, and the $50 USB mic that sounds like a Neumann U47- yeah, right. The place to put mixes for comments is the MP3 mixing clinic. Spend a lot of time asking questions, and zero time promoting yourself, and you can get a lot out of this board. And don't put the same post into multiple forums. Good luck. We'll be there for you.

btw how did my reputation get to beyond repute already lol? how does that work?
