My new band...HEAVY,need outside opinions

Hey Demensia...this one wasn't written by me, other than the drums. So that is why it doesn't sound like my other stuff.

Vesuvius...yeah we were kinda going for a Soulfly kinda vibe with this music. The vocal mic, i just let TJ devour a good old SM58. And compress, but not that much.
Throaty was what we were kinda going for.

A1A2...i am really not into Death metal as much as regular metal. And i am taking things a bit better than in the past. I used to get all worked up and be like fuck everyone, but i am a peace loving hippy now and i like my solo projects better than my band stuff. Probably cause i wrote it. HEHEHEH...keep it coming
 
Yeah, I have some other styles as well. Extreme metal is the only one that gives me that rush though. If its done right! :> The other stuff is bluesy and soulfull. I don't think one of us doesn't have that bone in em though!
 
YEAH!! BABY!!! Just listened to "Breaking of a Spirit" great sound man and we're on the same page in what we like. Just in case you hadn't noticed we're teamed up in HRC #4. I'm gonna shoot you a pm.

Yeah, i posted to this thread about a month or more ago. His new one "Breaking of a spirit" is pretty cool.

"The Breaking Of A Spirit" - this song fucking rocks! The drums are lame, but that can be fixed. Vocals shred.

"Tears Inside" - drums need work, some of the guitar could be tighter, but overall a good effort.

"colaboration" - good stuff. dig the EVH volume swells. some of the guitar is a bit redundant. drums are crap. cut out the drum solos and tighten up the guitars... basically get the song down to 3 minutes and you may have a salvageable tune.

I really like your style. How do you get your guitar sound? Sounds like a triple rectifier.
