I'm trying to edit music I have loaded into my itunes but when I click and drag it just comes up static. Please help.

iTunes converts into a proprietary format, it's not MP3.

although its analog way...you can get ANY sound you hear in headphones INTO track software by using a headphone-sized patch cord. (make sure its stereo on both ends...ask me how i know this? lmao...)
