I've posted stuff up before, and I think this song is the best I've done, please give me your feedback. the song is a fast rock track.
My set up was just a Nady 8 i/o preamp into a Midiman soundcard and a Yamaha one and I edited the tracks in Adobe Audition 1.5. the vocals don't have any reverb nor does the snare.

What is your monitoring setup?

The low end is non-exsistent,

Is there a bass somewhere in there?

I would lower your high mid range, and spend more time on capturing the low frequencies of all instruments in the mix.

Sit vox down

I think the overall recording is pretty good (sounds sorta like Alkaline Trio):

But sit those vocals down in the mix
the same with the lead\melody\solo guitar that comes in.
bring that down a little bit behind the vocals at least until the solo break.

as for my monitoring setup, I just have my harman/kardon speakers. I plan on purchasing some M-Audio BX monitors. any suggestions?
