My First Song..

Sounds like a good base for a tune-the parts are working well together-though it could use something in the low end-a key bass--or real bass???? The playing sounds good but it sounds a little too machine like to me--every note seems to be perfectly quantized and the same volume-it needs a little "human" element imo, though without vocals its hard to tell how it might sound. Sounds like you could fit another part or 2 in there as well-some kind of background "wash"--to give the mix some depth-or some parts panned around to open up the stereo spread a bit. Just opinions-I'd rather hear a more finished tune-I have no idea if my opinions are valid with what your idea for the song is.

you're right about being too machine like..

i haven't connected my digital piano, so i had to click click...

therefore too perfect quantization..

but can it really fit another 2 parts?

because i though it was getting kinda complicated..

Don't know what your plans are for this with vocals. If you take a weird Residents like approach this could be really cool.
 
It sounds like a good basis for a track, but it needs a proper drum track, bass and something (such as more pads) to go alongside the arepgiated synth piano sound. At the moment it's got quite an 80's feel due to the electronic nature, but that might be what you're going for, I dunno. Keep us posted on your progress :)

...well, since you had to ask, I'm guessing you're going a much different direction with it. But it does sound kind of like some of their more accessible stuff.
