I am buying an Alesis HD24 this week!!!!

Why? I spoke on the phone for a good hour with a very well-known musician friend of mine (I seem to have a few of those type of friends..So why can't I be famous too? ).

What he explained in great detail to me was what a value this unit was, as he broke it down in comparison specs to other units costing quite a bit more.

So I am sold.

Is there anyone here that can extol the virues of this unit to me, and maybe post a snippet of your work on one of these babies?

I have been looking at the ad for this thing like most guys look at a centerfold of Cindy Crawford.

I got a great quote on the unit (1900.00 out the door)
and that rebate is just the icing on the cake, because it is quite rare to see a rebate on any musical gear.

Post something in the mixing clinic with that unit when you get the chance!

Vill Id ..you got cableing for it ?If you are running it thru a analog board your gonna need six snakes of 8..3 snakes of 8 for your in's and 3 snakes of 8 for your out's.. at least you need outs for monitoring and mixing..Did you pick it up yet?

Vill Id....I was doin' some wireing...and I looked at the recipes for the snakes they were $99.00 apeice..sh*t..It was a while ago {3 months} that I got them so I didn't remember how much they were ..They are midgrade Rapco 10' balanced..Sorry if I didn't give you the right price the first time..
