I registered few minutes ago, so I wanted to say hi. My name is Jarek and I'm from Poland. In the begining I want to sorry for my english which is not my native language. I hope to learn something here. ;)

Cutting to the chase: I recently started recording a kind of metalcore stuff. I recorded some material few days ago and started mixing it. I would appriciate if you could listen to it and give me some tips about mix, recording, composition or pretty much everything. I'm a newbie and I don't have a decent recording equipement but I think it sounds well.
I plan to write and record vocals and later finish the whole track. What do you think? Is it worth working on?

Yes it's worth working on. It sounded good. I couldn't figure out the intro and i was thinking, "This sucks." But when it kicked in, it sounded good. Vocals can make a mix an order of magnitude more difficult. Just warning. :)

Your English seems pretty good too.

Welcome to the board.

Most everything (after the intro) sounds pretty good to me, except for the crash. It sounds like the compression is really pumping the crashes on the kick.
