Hello.. I'd like to present to you one of the tunes from my first job as a RE...

It's a band called "Vurma" who plays Klezmer.. The line up is:
clarinet: AKG C1000
bass-clarinet Shure Beta57
accordion 2x AKG C1000
mandolin AKG C1000
trombone Beta57

Mackie 24-4 (8?) console and an ADAT... Everything is recorded in one take.. Mixdown was made through a Behringer Composer to DAT.. and this (papirozn) is the song that came out on top...

excuse the idiotic counter-strike screeny I use to promote myself :-P

Very well recorded woodwinds. And I'm a fan of Klezmer.
The mandolin was hard to hear, though.
You got as close to "thump" as this style gets.
The "info" file at mp3.com is sort of ambiguous as to who this band is. Was that a request from Vurma?
Respect for the artists' wishes makes you a mensch.

uh..

Thanx for the kind words.. and I might add that they wanted the mandolin that low...

I don't really follow what you mean about the contents of the info-file..

This was the info file

No mention of Vurma or Klezmer.

I do certainly not wanna go behind the back on people I record..
