Sooo I got the acapella of Katy Perrys new song "TGIF"
I have been listening to a bit of electronic music lately and decided it was time to break out fruity loops and see if I could make anything interesting. My brother and I are collaborating on this remix. I would enjoy any criticism / thoughts / etc that you guys could throw my way.

here is a link to the original: Katy Perry - Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) - YouTube

and here is ours:
EDIT: updated stuff.

Well, you got me to something I've never EVER done before; listen to Katy Perry. Now I know why. But seriously, beyond that, you sound very close to the original. Just because the material SUCKS doesn't mean the job you did does. Nice work for what it is.

There, you can come back out of the cave now.....

If you took out or switched the vocal track this would sound really good.
